Hello all,
A big thank you to all who have supported JOHNNY throughout the years. Unfortunately it has come to the stage that we will no longer be together as a charity and as a group have decided to wind down our activities.
We have done such great work and have touched on countless lives, for that we should be proud. We will be dontating any funds we have have to other similar charities(announced once decided) to help them continue on their good work.
Our website and Facebook page will still be avilable as a source of information.

JOHNNY has an exciting year ahead with launching our new website to working on key health care projects throughout 2011. The new year brings along with it lot's of new changes within our group.
WE NEED YOU.........
We are looking for a wide variety of new volunteers to join and help continue run JOHNNY to ensure we can meet our key objective 'Promoting the Health and Well Being of Gay and Bisexual men in Dublin'.
JOHNNY is a charity organisation that is run completely by volunteers, who give whatever time they can to help out. Our focus areas for 2011 are around:
- Supporting GHN with key projects by managing activities within the capacity and scope of the group
- Managing all online content and social media channels for JOHNNY i.e. website and Facebook
- Continually communicating key messages of health and well being within the Dublin Gay and Bisexual community
- Profiling priority messages at key calendar events
VOLUNTEER TODAY..........
Volunteering with JOHNNY offers many social opportunities and provides you with the chance to give back to your community and really make change happen. If you are interested in joining or want some further information please email johnny.group@gmail.com. Your help is vital to our existence.

JOHNNY volunteers had a day of fun and adventure representing the charity at the first LGBT music festival MILK. The festival allowed for distribution of thousands of safe sex packs and information booklets. A great day was had by all volunteers who as well as spreading the safe sex message got to meet Samantha Fox and Sophie Ellis Bextor.
A big thank you and congratulations to all the team at MILK....we look forward to 2011.
